A Wool Gathering

September 17th 2011 in Festivals, Uncategorized

Each year, A Wool Gathering is held in September in Ohio.  This year it is on the 17th and 18th of September.  Next year, it will be on 15-16 September.

Wool Gathering is the first fiber festival which I attended.  It’s also the one where I purchased my first loom.

It’s really nifty, held north of Yellow Springs, OH at Young’s Dairy — they have ice cream, as well as many other items for the non-fiber oriented.

Local guilds attend, as does the local chapter of the SCA.  Thea got to see some of them sword fighting today — she really liked that & wants to learn.
